I used this pump to replace a failed one on a 30 year old Craftsman power washer. The engine was still good so didn't see the reason to spend $300+ on a replacement power washer. One thing I will say is you might need some longer bolts and spacers for install. Mine has a Briggs and Stratton engine and there is a ring cast into the bottom of the case. Due to the style of the mount on this pump I ran into interference between the mounting feet and that ring. I made some 1/4" thick spacer to put between the engine and pump mount. That meant I also needed a little longer bolts also. Did see one person commented they ground clearance into the mount to clear that ring. I was thinking about doing that, but decided to use spacers instead. I still have full engagement with the key stock in the crankshaft and didn't have to worry about voiding the warranty if there was something wrong with the pump.Works as good if not better than the original one did. Had to go with this one since the larger pumps, while would bolt up, would have put a lot of stress on the engine itself.
