Outdoor cleaningI have had this electric washer almost a year. I bought this to strip a very old deck, and then my son started using it (with a wider nozzle) to wash mud off his truck. It is lightweight and works great- powered right back up this year too when we plugged it in, no worries about old gas in the engine or anything like that. Came with 4 different nozzles so you can strip everything from metal to gently wash a car.I actually had an old gas power washer that was too big, smelly, and noisy- I donated it after getting this one. Then I lost the soap dispenser over the winter- about a year after purchasing- and when I contacted the seller to ask how I could order a new one, they just sent me one free of charge within a day. Super customer service!I expected greater power than it delivered. This was bought to power wash our concrete path stones to our front door, which includes approximately 7 slabs of 5 ft by 3 ft and stoop of 8 ft and 4 ft. I gave up after 2 hours because it was taking say long. The only way I could get the slabs clean was using the 0 degrees nozzle, which is fair enough but obviously is painstakingly slow. My experience of other power washes is that they were more powerful and would have enabled the work to be done more quickly. The connection to the water hose came off several times during use. It was difficult to connect by hand sufficiently tightly so that it would not loosen and thereby lose water pressure. In the end I found that I had to tighten the hose by using pliers, something that I was reluctant to do for fear of over tightening, but there was no alternative. The other nozzles greater than zero degrees have their uses, I suppose, i.e. washing away dirt etc., but the prime purpose for which I bought this power washer was for the front path and door stoop. On this basis, it was (very) disappointing as it was taking a long time, and I gave up because of this. The product received reasonable reviews and I am sure it is fine if one's expectations are limited to fairly minor applications. It is not that the product is faulty, just limited. If I had my choice again I would probably have chosen a more powerful product. Overall, I really cannot award it more than about 3 stars.Nice and quiet! The neighbors won't complain.Easy assembly, even included a midget screwdriver hah. But I just used my own.Falls over easily, as one might guess by looking at it, but the good news is it does seem to run fine while laying on its back. The 25 deg nozzle seemed to clean the driveway concrete well enough. Haven't tried cleaning my filthy north side vinyl siding though, I'm waiting for a nice warm winter day to come for that. It is nice and light - some of that siding I'll have to clean standing on a shallow pitched lower roof so it should be easy to haul it up the ladder with me, that's something you can't do with a gas powered PW.I had trouble releasing the hose from the pistol until I realized (duh) that I needed to push the trigger to relieve the back pressure in the line first (it will retain that pressure even if you unplug the power and unhook the garden hose from the inlet).Bought this as a gift for my son. He no longer spends money at the car wash. Washes his car at home. He even has done the siding of the house with it and it did a good job!Not a lot of power but ok for the priceI just need a pressure washer for cars, windows, garage door and sidings that overtime accumulate spider webs. I know I want to have a light weight maintenance-free electric one, not the one with gas engine. So when looked for a light weight electric pressure washer, I came cross the Homdox Electric Pressure Washer, 2500 PSI 1.5 GPM one. It is very reasonable priced and looks to meet my needs. Indeed, when I got it and tried it. It works really great. First thing I noticed when I washed my cars was that it used very little water when compared to using a water hose. Also, it really cleans well and saves lots of time. It is powerful enough to do most of things including cleaning sidings. One caveat, the nozzle needs to be fairly close to the clean surface (<2 ft) in order to have a good clean action. I guess that is probably true to any pressure washer. Anyway, I am very satisfied with this little pressure washer. Another positive, it occupies a very small space.I have owned 3 previous pressure washers over the past 20 years - one gas powered, 2 electric. I find that the electric ones are more practical since even though you must be within reach of your power cord with an electric model, your range with a gas model is still limited by the length of the water hose. The beauty of electric models is that they are lighter and easier to carry around, thus making the whole process of cleaning something an easier undertaking. I've used this washer (Homdox Electric Pressure Washer, 2500 PSI 1.5 GPM) about 5 times since I bought it 2 months ago and it works well. With the four supplied tips you can get an appropriate spray for just about any household cleaning project. It has a price level which is very affordable, less than most other electric pressure washers. It has performed well for me so far and I'm satisfied with my purchase.
